University of the German Armed Forces orders IMS 7f-Auto
Universität der Bundeswehr München - Faculty for Electronics and Information Technology has placed an order for a CAMECA's IMS 7f-Auto secondary ion microprobe to replace their previous Quadrupole SIMS. The instrument was chosen for its superior depth profiling capabilities and will be mainly applied to research and developement on silicon microdevices.

The Universität der Bundeswehr München was founded in 1973 with the aim of providing officers and officer candidates with a university education that would also prepare them for civilian careers. It is made up of the University and a College of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule) and offers a total of 13 programs of study in 7 departments of the University and 3 departments of the College.  Today, the Universität der Bundeswehr München has become a center of scientific competence and has found a firm standing among Germany’s universities. Excellent scientific facilities allow high-level research that is competitive on an international scale, and makes them an integral part of both the international research communities.
